High Peaks Broadcasting is a radio company formed by long-time, Chicago-based broadcaster Chris Devine. High Peaks has employed a “move-in” strategy by purchasing KXUU-FM in Estes Park, CO and rebranding and reformatting it into KXDC-FM 102.1.

 

Marathon Media owns Midwest and northwest regional clusters of AM & FM radio stations. Marathon is led by Chris Devine and his management team to acquire and operate radio stations in smaller markets.

 

National Metalwares is a leading integrated manufacturer of tubular steel components for household and juvenile products and commercial furniture, as well as for sporting goods equipment, lawn and garden equipment and toys. The Company, jointly purchased with its management team, was acquired from Varlen Corporation (NASDAQ).

 

Precision Products Group, Inc. is a leading manufacturer in two business segments: a) specialty springs; and b) wound paper and plastic tubing. The Company's plants are located in College Park, MD; Muskegon, MI; Elyria, OH; and Ft. Wayne, IN. The Company was purchased with members of its management from CLARCOR, Inc. (NYSE).

 

Simplex Manufacturing Co. is a leading manufacturer in the business of designing and manufacturing aerial firefighting, open water oil pollution control, agricultural spray equipment and other related accessories for helicopters.

 

U.S. Ring Binder is a specialty manufacturer and distributor of ring metal mechanisms used in three-ring binders, catalogs and other products. It offers competitively priced standard mechanisms manufactured through two Chinese joint ventures, as well as custom binding mechanisms manufactured in its St. Louis facility. The Company was purchased with members of its management from General Binding Corporation (NYSE).
